Have you gotten the scoop on the Innersection competition? No? Poor Specimen, Taylor Steele, and Nathan Myers, only the makers of the best surf movies to grace this earth, have started this new project. A video editor pairs up with a surfer and creates a 2-3 minute video section.
Who needs a spot? Santa Cruz local boy Nat Young and his video editor Ryan Moss. Give them a 10. Because their section rocks. Like for serious, it’s insane. And they’ll now have the rest of the year to film and edit something even crazier.

Kelly Slater, Julian Wilson, Jeremy Flores, and Dane Reynolds were flown down to that lovely little secret spot in Mexico, along with the biggest entourage ever of filmmakers, photographers, and general support crew to pull this off.

Sam Page has thrown together a little video of the action at the Cloud 9 Invitational that took place in October 2009. Australian surfer Garrett Parkes beat Hawaiian Makua Rothman in the final, but much of the action took place in the first round with Jamie O’Brien and Sam Page himself getting 10s.
