Mikey DeTemple and High Seas Films are finishing up work on their Picaresque longboarding flick, on tour now and available summer ’09.

They recently hit up a Florida wave pool and Keith Novosel has some photos of the session on his blog.

I believe that anyone who has seen this movie would agree that it is one of the best surf films of today and of time to come. Directed by Dan Malloy, this Woodshed Film production is a powerful experience.

I’ve been sitting on this movie for a while, not really sure what to say about it. This movie attempts to be three different things, and does all 3 successfully but suffers from trying to do too many things at once.

This stop motion video was obviously created by a surfer. This playmobil guy rips, pulling into deep household pits, peeling dinning room rug barrels, foamballs of shag carpeting. Must-watch video.
